Golf instructor Louis Melanson launched the Louis Melanson Golf Foundation yesterday at the Fox Creek Golf Course. The foundation hopes to raise $100,000 over the next five years to create an endowment fund to help provide for the development of local young golfers. Fundraising has started with an already sold out Benefit Golf Tournament on June 7 at Fox Creek Golf Club and an instructional DVD, the first in New Brunswick. The DVD is $24.95 and can be ordered by emailing the Golf Academy or at the pro shop at Fox Creek.
