Louis Melanson Golf Academy offers only year-round instruction in Atlantic Canada

MONCTON (NB): Maritime golfers need not worry about losing their swing this winter, not with the launch of the Louis Melanson Golf Academy at the new Dundee Sports Dome in Moncton. The Academy, which was recently launched at the Dome, features Louis Melanson and his team of professionals who will work with golfers of all ages and abilities on bettering their game.
The Louis Melanson Golf Academy, in partnership with the Dundee Sports Dome, is the only year-round indoor golf facility in Atlantic Canada. The academy offers a range of opportunities for golfers including a state of the art video analysis, mental strategies along with working on both a golfers’ short game (bunker, chipping, putting) and swing on the Dome’s impressive 12 station driving range. A wide variety of lesson offerings are available including single, group or corporate.
“We are very excited to be working with the Dundee Sports Dome on this initiative” says CPGA Professional Louis Melanson. “Over the years golfers from not only New Brunswick but across the Maritimes have been looking for ways to work on their game indoors during the winter months. Golfers will now not only have the opportunities to improve their game through either private or group lessons, but they can also take advantage of personalized club fitting with the launch of the Academy’s new Vector Launch Monitor”.
In addition to the Louis Melanson Golf Academy’s lessons with the Dundee Sports Dome, the Academy is also running a golf school in Florida in April of 2006. This marks the third year for the school which offers golfers an all inclusive (transportation, hotel, food, lessons, golf and balls) package. The Academy offers two specialized schools, one for Elite Junior Golfers and the second for adults.
